Beautiful backwater views

Really helpful and attentive staff with a good portion of humor. Nicely furnished and modern room with iron/ironing board, a work desk, and a stone fireplace for a nice stay.

Lovely Stay with Fine Views

Our getaway was special, with enchanting sunsets over the water from our Double Room with Lake View. The pool area was pristine, and the staff's warmth and generosity. For a unique experience, try the hotel's traditional Kerala cuisine during your stay!

The Lake View Beautiful Room offered amazing views of the backwaters. Waking up to that scenery every morning reminded me of a dream. The food was a delight, with local dishes that captured the flavors of the region. Fish curry packed a punch! Staff members like Sandhya, Vishnu, and Prashant. Common areas, especially the gardens, were well-kept and inviting. Relaxing by the pool was a treat. On the flip side, arranged transportation became a hassle. The taxi fares felt steep and unclear, which put a slight damper on things. A little more help with getting around would've been appreciated.

The culinary thrill at Uday Backwater Resort was hella fun, with the best local flavors like spicy fish curry that could make your taste buds salsa! Our Lake View Beautiful Room was pure paradise, with a fine view. Plus, the staff were champs, especially Sandhya, Vishnu, and Prashant.

Now, on the flip side, arranged taxis seemed like a bit of a hustle. We paid 700 rupees from the train station to the resort, then 1200 rubles for the reverse trip, a tad steep! Not sure if it was the hotel's doing or the driver playing tricks, but it definitely put a dampener on the fun vibes.

Family getaway not to skip!

One evening, my kids were thrilled to see the rabbits and geese on the hotel, I mean, their faces lit up like it was Christmas! I must say, the backwater view from our room was killer, every morning reminded me of we were living in a postcard.

It wasn't cheap, but it was still acceptable.

The staff here are super friendly and always available to assist, the rooms are modern and cozy with a comfy chair, balcony, and spacious bathrooms.
